3 Years of TECHNE – CTA Student Publication and Exhibition
The Department of Architecture at CityTech will celebrate the release of the third issue of its student publication TECHNE with the opening of the annual student work exhibition on March 12 at 6 PM. The student-produced publication and accompanying exhibition showcase work from across the department’s three degree programs, highlighting the creativity and achievements of CityTech architecture students.
On Thursday, March 12, at 6 PM, the Department of Architecture at CityTech will release the third issue of its annual student work publication, TECHNE, alongside the opening of the annual student work exhibition.
The longstanding student workbook TECHNE was revived in 2023 after a long hiatus. Since its original iteration, the department has established an NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, which it now offers alongside its Bachelor of Technology in Architecture and Associate in Architecture degrees. It has also transitioned from the Department of Architectural Technology to the Department of Architecture, reflecting both its growing student body and an expanded academic mission.
The current issue of TECHNE, assembled by a student editorial team, highlights these developments while showcasing student work from across the department’s three degree programs. The publication features work from throughout the curriculum, including technical courses, design studios, and architectural history.
The accompanying TECHNE student exhibition presents this work within a design-build installation created by a dedicated team of CityTech students, representing multiple years of the program.

All are welcome to attend the opening and celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of CityTech’s architecture students on Thursday, March 12th!
